Pro Freelance Writer

Well, I’ve gone and done it.  I’ve signed up for National Novel Writer’s Month.  It’s not a cult, it’s not a political petition, but it is likely to keep me entertained for weeks on end.  For NaNoWriMO, you right a 50,000 word novel in 30 days.  You’re going for quantity, not quality, in this endeavor, which should be an interesting exercise to say the least.  Science fiction?  Romantic thriller?  I have no idea yet and only a few days before the festivities begin.  I’ve recruited three friends to jump the ledge with me, and should you be interested, look me up on there.  As always, I’m writingkimberly.

I’ve been doing freelance copywriting work for EcoBike, a great company that designs and manufactures electric bikes.  They are a small outfit that got started in Europe, where all things ‘green’ grow faster, and are now based in Oregon.  I rewrote the copy for their new website, which is now up and running.  I have to say I think the copy and design complement each other, but decide for yourself by visiting www.ecobike-usa.com!

Recently, I got an interesting assignment to write a script for a Dr. Who fan episode.  It was my first assignment where I was told to be sure to include a flying monkey.  Fun for sure!

I’m a writer.  I just can’t help it.  On this site you’ll find some background info about me, samples of my work, and links to projects that I’ve been involved in.

While I intend to keep the site pretty basic, I’ve always had a fantasy to answer Advice Column questions, so if you’ve got a problem, bring it on!
